Manila, Philippines — May 19, 2026 — Hopetrek, the smart energy brand under Uniview, successfully held its brand launch ceremony at Le Parc Event Hall in the Philippines.
At the press conference, Uniview CEO Hermit Zhang stated that in an increasingly uncertain world, stable energy supply, home security, and data protection have become essential foundations of modern living. He emphasized that energy safety, home security, and data protection are deeply interconnected — forming the core vision behind Hopetrek’s Smart & Safe Home ecosystem.

Leveraging years of expertise in AIoT and intelligent security, Uniview entered the energy storage industry in 2019 with the launch of Hopetrek. More than simply expanding into a new industry, Hopetrek represents a natural extension of Uniview’s strengths in safety, energy innovation, and data intelligence.
Against the backdrop of growing renewable energy demand and accelerating energy transition efforts, the Philippines continues to advance the development of a more sustainable and resilient energy system, with targets to increase the share of renewable energy to 35% by 2030 and 50% by 2040.
During the event, Mr. B Philip Teomar A. Radin, Head of Investment Promotions of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), emphasized that energy security and sustainability are “no longer optional, but definitely essential.” He noted that PEZA continues to support investments and partnerships that introduce advanced technologies and cleaner energy solutions into the Philippines — particularly solutions that simplify complexity while maximizing impact, which strongly aligns with Hopetrek’s “LESS IS MORE” philosophy of delivering smarter and more streamlined energy solutions.
Also speaking at the event, Mr. Edward V. Neri, OIC-Chief of the Solar Energy Management Division under the Renewable Energy Management Bureau of the Department of Energy (DOE), shared that the Philippines is accelerating its transition from renewable energy policy ambition to large-scale market implementation. He highlighted that solar, energy storage, and distributed energy systems will play an increasingly important role in the country’s future energy landscape, adding that “the opportunity is real, the market is growing, and the time to participate is now.”
Against this backdrop, Hopetrek officially introduced its integrated Smart & Safe Home solution and full-scenario energy product portfolio to the Philippine market. Guided by the “LESS IS MORE” philosophy, the ecosystem deeply integrates solar power, energy storage, EV charging, smart home technologies, and AI-driven coordination into one unified intelligent system — creating a next-generation Smart & Safe Home ecosystem centered around stable energy, home security, and intelligent living.
During the keynote speech, Ximen Yan, President of the International Business Department, shared that residential energy storage should no longer be viewed as a standalone power product, but rather as a critical part of future smart home infrastructure. As energy systems, home security, and intelligent lifestyles continue to converge, he noted that the concept of smart homes must also evolve.
He further emphasized that the future of smart living should be built on two foundations — safety and comfort — with safety always coming first. In this context, Hopetrek’s Smart & Safe Home ecosystem goes beyond simple device connectivity by integrating energy safety, home security, and data protection into one unified intelligent living system.
At the energy layer, the solar-storage-charging system helps ensure stable power supply while reducing electricity costs. At the security layer, smart surveillance and video intercom technologies provide 24/7 protection. At the data layer, privacy and data security remain a key priority. Designed for seamless integration across multiple scenarios, the solution can be applied in homes, retail stores, hotels, warehouses, and more.
Through this ecosystem, Hopetrek also aims to create new growth opportunities for installers across different industries. Traditional security installers can expand into the renewable energy sector, while solar and energy installers can further extend their business into smart home and security solutions — enabling the transition from single-product sales to integrated solution services.
For end users, this means more safety, less cost, and more peace of mind. For partners, it delivers stronger differentiation through an all-in-one, multi-scenario solution offering.

The launch also showcased a comprehensive product portfolio covering single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters, high- and low-voltage battery systems, all-in-one energy storage solutions, as well as residential and commercial AC/DC EV chargers — fully addressing the diverse needs of residential and commercial applications.
Built around the “LESS IS MORE” concept, the products deliver key advantages including ultra-fast 4ms backup switching, simplified four-step app configuration, wide 170V–290V voltage compatibility, and strong adaptability to weak-grid environments. Combined with AI-driven coordination, the system is designed to deliver less waiting, less cost, and less trouble — together with more solutions and more intelligence.
Ximen Yan also noted that a truly outstanding energy storage product is not defined by the simple accumulation of specifications and features, but by achieving the right balance between quality, efficiency, intelligence, and long-term service value.
With this philosophy in mind, Hopetrek continuously optimizes its products from the perspectives of both installers and end users — simplifying installation processes, reducing configuration complexity, and lowering operational barriers through fewer SKUs, easier setup, and AI-powered intelligent assistance. In doing so, Hopetrek brings the “LESS IS MORE” philosophy into every stage of the product lifecycle.
Hopetrek also highlighted its expanding global service network and localized operational capabilities during the launch event. Lucas Liu, President of the Energy Storage Division, stated that the brand has established localized marketing and service systems across multiple countries while continuously strengthening local warehousing, technical support, training centers, and channel empowerment programs to provide partners with more efficient, reliable, and sustainable long-term support.

To support channel partners in the Philippines, Hopetrek launched a dedicated installer empowerment program offering technical training and certification, demo unit incentives, marketing materials, roadshow campaigns, and retail store support. At the same time, Hopetrek is strengthening its local service capabilities through expanded service teams, enhanced spare parts inventory, and a 24-hour response mechanism on working days — helping partners improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and achieve sustainable business growth while building a stronger long-term channel ecosystem.

During the event, Michael Mu, Country Manager of UNV Philippines, shared that Hopetrek aims not only to create business value together with its partners, but also to deliver truly valuable products and services to users across the Philippines. He noted that the integration of energy, security, and intelligent technologies will help create a more stable, secure, and efficient lifestyle for Filipino households.
Official partners Michael Bangayan from Banbros and Jayaer Guadalupe from Technoforce also expressed strong confidence in the future of the Philippine renewable energy market. They shared that the integrated smart energy and security solutions introduced by Hopetrek and Uniview are expected to create new opportunities for industry collaboration and market growth in the Philippines.

The Philippines represents an important part of Hopetrek’s global energy and intelligent ecosystem strategy. Looking ahead, Hopetrek will continue to deepen its presence in the Philippine market under the guiding philosophy of “LESS IS MORE,” leveraging highly adaptable products, full-lifecycle service capabilities, and comprehensive channel empowerment programs.
By continuously advancing the integration of energy, security, and AI-driven intelligent technologies, Hopetrek aims to work closely with local partners to build a more efficient and sustainable service ecosystem — bringing safer, smarter, and more energy-independent lifestyles to more homes and commercial scenarios across the Philippines.
