Model: ESS-TH10K@A-EU + ESS-HB15@B-EU
Application: Off-Grid, Residential
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Background:
Poland has emerged as a significant player in Europe's manufacturing landscape, home to a diverse array of factories that tirelessly bolster the continent's production capacity. However, continuous, round-the-clock production also results in substantial electricity costs for these enterprises. Today, Hopetrek shares the story of one of our clients—a local wood furniture manufacturing plant. Their experience may offer valuable insights into tackling the energy challenges faced by factories like yours.
Nestled on the outskirts of Warsaw, the Guzowatka region is home to a modest yet industrious wood furniture processing plant. Before integrating sustainable energy solutions, the factory faced a hefty monthly electricity bill of 1,700 PLN, a significant expense for its operations.
In June, the factory took a decisive step toward sustainability by installing photovoltaic panels. These solar panels efficiently captured abundant sunlight during the day, generating electricity that far exceeded the plant's immediate energy needs.
Despite the successful solar integration, the plant still relied on the grid at night and faced inefficiencies in energy utilization. This highlighted a critical need for a comprehensive energy storage solution to optimize solar usage and reduce grid dependency.
Solution:
In response, the factory adopted Hopetrek’s advanced ESS-TH12K@A-EU three-phase inverter, paired with the ESS-HB15@A-EU high-voltage battery. This robust energy storage system, with AC coupling compatibility, seamlessly retrofitted existing SolarEdge photovoltaic installations. The innovative solution required no costly rewiring, enabling efficient energy storage and usage during non-peak hours. Additionally, the factory benefited from a generous €3,600 government subsidy for implementing a residential energy storage system.

Model: ESS-TH25K@B-EU + ESS-HB20@A-EU
Application: On-grid / Energy storage / Backup / Self-use / Peak shaving / Reduce costs
Location: Bergamo, Italy
Background: Tackling High Energy Costs in Retail Operations
For supermarkets, electricity isn't just a utility—it's the backbone of daily operations. From refrigeration systems preserving fresh produce to bright, inviting lighting and uninterrupted checkout processes, every aspect of a store depends on a stable power supply. However, rising energy prices in Italy have placed increasing pressure on operating margins.
Located in Bergamo, this supermarket faced mounting electricity costs and concerns over grid instability. In 2024, the Italian government introduced a €320 million subsidy program to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in adopting renewable energy solutions. Recognizing this opportunity, the supermarket’s management decided to invest in a solar-plus-storage solution to gain control over their energy expenses and enhance power resilience.
Solution: Smart Energy Storage for 24/7 Efficiency
To maximize solar utilization and reduce dependence on the grid, the supermarket deployed Hopetrek's 25kW three-phase hybrid inverter (ESS-TH25K@B-EU) and 20kWh high-voltage battery (ESS-HB20@A-EU). Unlike traditional solar systems that only generate power during the day, this advanced system ensures uninterrupted energy availability, aligning perfectly with the supermarket's operational demands.
